New idler and belt showed up yesterday. I hate that I need to wait till Tuesday when I get time with the car.

In the meantime... I'm still trying to figure out what could cause the injector psi to dive down.

Could that be the PCM/traction control system kicking in?

Nope, I turn it off everytime I start the car to avoid this issue since the 07-09 ECU's are infamous for limiting power.

Stupid question but when was the last time you changed the fuel filter. I'm just thinking that the car sat a lot and it may have gotten gummed up restricting flow. If it's not new that is.

You may be onto something. Never put a new one in. Sitting at 23K miles and the car sat for a long time.

Been thinking about selling the '13 again since once I get this car running 100% I will probably want to drive this more and it doesn't help that I work 6/7 days of the week and average 1-2 rides in one of these cars every two weeks.

I know it would be more responsible to sell it, but I love my moostangs. I don't really give a crap about any material items except for my two babies. Lol.

Me too man... I am really bummed that it has been taking me this long to work out the issues.

Also, I may have found a loop hole that will allow me to get around emissions stuff - LT's and cams here we gooooooooo.

Cams were probably the best thing I've done to my car. They just sound amazing.

What did Mihovetz say about the tensioners in the 5.4 aluminum block? I can't remember, but I think it was a weak spot when running aggressive cams with increased lift.

Apart from that: two Mustangs is not one too many. You'll be fine. You can drive one while working on the other.

I wasn't going to run anything crazy. I do like the performance and drivability of the JDM Super Stock cams though.

Food for thought since I won't be getting a huge blower, but want to squeeze some good power out of a 2.3L TVS.

Alright, sorry I didn't update last night - I was playing with the car until 9PM and when I got home I pretty much passed out.

I did the following yesterday and it seemed to really help the car:

-Installed a BilletProShop upper Aux Idler Pulley
-Installed a Gates Heavy Duty Belt
-Installed a new fuel filter
-Uploaded a tune revision from Lund

For the most part the car is acting a lot like it should. I'm fairly impressed of how well it can hook with the 255's on the back, and I was thinking it wasn't putting down enough power until I realized the entire suspension I put on the car.

Last couple things I need before it's road ready:
-alignment
-install the horn
-find the nut and cap for the passenger side windshield wiper... I'm not sure where it went.

I'll be sending it to the body shop too to get the holes filled in and repaired. Probably going to have the entire car wet sanded and buffed.

Probably the added idler and adjusted tune. There seems to still be a slight hesitation up top so I still have some tinkering

I'm happy but I'm used to the way my '13 pulls and that means more power isn't too far behind.
