LOL. Yeah, I think I've reached the point of really calculating the time I have free and what I want to apply it to with this car.

I've heard very few cars with borla touring and o/r pipe but everytime I do it sounds nice and I wanted to the H for the deepness.



LT's will always help with a higher horsepower application. I just didn't think it was worth the hassle this time around when I'll be sitting around 650whp and no cats, however I do plan on pulling the motor later. I'm going to use bedliner to coat the entire engine bay. I've wanted to do that for a while and I recently saw how it looked in person and it was awesome. At the same time I figured I'll put cams in along with LT's.

As for the cost... I put LT's on my N/A 3V and it was definitely worth the money and power. 353rwhp pulled like a freight train to me. Lol

I understand what you're saying about limited time to wrench. Hell at this point if I were in your shoes I'd just be ready to enjoy the car and get used to the "new" feel.

I don't know that I've heard the Touring mufflers with an Offroad mid but I ran them on the headers with the catted X I got from you and Alan has them on his mostly stock Shelby both cars sounded great.

I've found KB to make a lot of statements, some of which not always as brilliant as the others. I would take whatever they say with a grain of salt.

I really want to, but the car needs a dyno-tune. I know I wanted a different blower off the bat and I figured it would be more cost effective to get this dialed in with the TVS from the get-go. If I had luck with my other tune I probably would have been fine as is. Plus I'm just not happy with the exhaust setup I currently have. 10+ mufflers look like dog shit hanging from the bottom of the stock 05-09 bumper.

I don't see the point of LT's on a 5.4 ... a buddy has a 2.8 KB '08 Shelby putting down about 640-650 rwhp. KB told him he'd only get about 10 rwhp if he did LT's ... I certainly would never spend $1000++ for 10-15 rwhp

Um no...you will see more than that, and the fact their will be less boost and more power is the bonus.

Haha yeah, but it's just not 100% how I want it. I drove it last night with my GF to get some food and I really need to hone in and find out what is making a god-awful sound on the passenger front strut, happens if I turn the wheel or I go over a bump. I'm thinking the spring is not seated correctly.

Sounds like the problem I had. I grease the sway bar bushings and the bar under them and haven't had an issue yet. I even ordered new bushings and haven't even bothered putting them on and I've owned them or a year now.

I'll take a look at that when I can. I don't hear shit out of the driver side, just the passenger side making all the fuss when the suspension is doing work.

In the meantime... does anyone know if there are any faux catalytic cases I can put around a o/r H pipe to make it appear like I have cats? It sounds silly, but I do need it.

These replace a small section of piping, but will work for what you are needing. You could also check in with a local exhaust shop to see if they will separate the shields from an old pair of cats and have them weld them on for you.

Started the car this morning to drive to work... had a delightful sound of what is probably my new aux pulley making a bunch of squealing. Fantastic.

Going to get inspection, alignment and have the tech at our other store take a look at the cracking sound I'm getting. I unfortunately don't have any time to get to the car with everything going on this week and my mom in the hospital.

Put a feeler out on my convertible and may be selling it if the right offer comes along. I think I've come to the conclusion I do not like having two of these cars around if I have zero time to drive them. Especially with the Bullitt needing a lot more upkeep/attention. I'm in no rush to sell though - simply looking for something that has a lot more space, but remains fast.

Friend of mine got a v-sport and got the Trinity tune on it. Thing balls so hard. An SRT8 Jeep has lots of room and with a centri is very fast.

I really wanted a CTS-V wagon, but after driving a new '14 Jeep GC, I would love to have a SRT-8. AWD, 8-speed auto, 0-60 in low 4's... I can't complain and its something I can DD and have room for my normal chores. Obviously I would do it up with a blower/wheels.

I'm going nuts over the saddle interior.
