I ran it Friday and in ran its best e/t so far with a lot les mph and 60ft was fair(dead hooked).
11.84@116 on 1.71 60ft. It was 93-96 deg ambient with high humidity on a +3500 Density altitude with 115-130 deg IAT's. The ECM was pulling 6 degrees of timing in the heat so only 23 deg total timing VS 29 deg it was at last time out. If you correct for DA it would have been 11.33 but add in the 6 degrees of timing it would have been 10.90-11.0's corrected easily.
Mike still has some tweaking to do to shift points and I am going to put some Torco in it and see if we can get the timing to stay in it with the heat(crap) humid air.
Hope to be out at track in a few weeks its just so effin hot/humid here right now.

I've never fouled a plug using either. I did, however, notice my plugs had a nice orange color to them after using Lucas for a while. I then just flush a fresh tank without the additive every 4 tanks or so. Really cut down on the discoloration.

No other side effects from my experience.

I use torco all the time. Great stuff. If I know I'm going to go out and beat on the car a lot I put 1/2 a can in. Not sure about the lucas stuff, but torco is the real deal.

Only complaint I've seen is it turns plugs orange. If you are at a car show for spark plugs that maybe an issue, but I typically don't pull my plugs out to show them off to people.

LOL, I wouldn't care about that either. Odd thing is I thought I read some negative effect this stuff has a few months ago, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was.

In all honestly, I really know little about it. Is there any reason for a bolt on guy like me to run it?

I remember reading over on SVT Forum about excessive use can gum up cats with the MMT additive and cause hot spots from the build up in the cylinders over time. But that's using A LOT for A LONG time.

I use it when at the track, long road trips, or if I'm romping on it real good. I've never had an issue, no detonation and just the orange "rust" color on plugs.

I used Torco on my Mach 1 @ 25.5 lbs. of boost. The stuff works. I did have to change the plugs more often though.

If you aren't pinging/etc then no need. If you can add 2-3 degrees of timing to take advantage of it, go for it.

I run it maybe 1 out of 4 tanks. The other tanks clear it up. Run some techron in one of the tanks to clean out any desposits.

No cats on any of my cars, but I could see that being a concern.

Yeah, none of that...so no need I guess. Just thought if it was hot this may keep it from pulling a little timing.

Only if it is pulling timing from knock, not from intake temps. It won't effect intake temps.

another happy Mike Rousch customer here too, I live in Richmond so I had Mike dyno tune my car. Night and day difference over the Bama 93 race tune I was running. It was like driving home a different car when I picked it up. Great customer service and very professional. Cant say enough nice things a bout him. I posted a thread after my experience with him as well. I will definitely be back for more re-tunes I may need after any future mods.
