Wotbox + 4r70w

I was just wondering has anyone done it if so was there any issues? If it was covered before I apologize as I did search.

Been running mine since I put the 4R70W in..what kind of issues could there be? All you would be using it for is the 2-step (unless you also use the window switch for nitrous) and people have been using 2-steps in them for years in the S-95 mustangs where the 4R70W is from.

You have to turn off the no-lift shift feature obviously.

I just was wondering if the clutch safety switch was a issue. Didn't know where it got the signal for the 2 step to activate . I would also be using it for nitrous control too. Just curious thought I'd ask.

I assume you will have a transbrake in your 4R70W right? If so then you use the switched power from the button for the trans brake to activate the 2step.

What do you do if you have no trans break?

I don't know if the brake pedal sensor outputs +12v or not when you press the brake but I'm sure there is a way to use it whether you need to tap in to the brake pedal switch and use a relay or if it outputs +12v when you depress it then just use that.

cool, thanks for the info. I haven't installed the wotbox yet. Was just think about future plans before I did. wanted to make this would be the correct route or not.
