Finally got my flip key cut and programmed.

[...]

Thanks a bunch! Ordered one of these and look forward to receiving it. I have to admit, I've always liked my wife's Infiniti fob (no key) and this is probably about as close as I can get.

Is this one OEM for any particular manufacturer?

Drove it. Carburated Fun in the Cool Air and a Big Motor and Gears and etc! Fun Power. Had a guy in a stock C6 want to play this morning. Rude awakening for that gentelman. 86 Mustang GT FTW!

Disclaimer! Does the above count as something I "DID" to my Mustang? LOL!!!!!

Sigh. Put the E/T Streets in the spare bedroom, aired them down to 5 psi. Threw on the studded Hakka's.

We're getting 2-4" at least on Monday so I'll be putting the snows on both my other cars tomorrow. Sucks. Mustang out for a drive today, filling it up, then parking it until we get a break in the weather.

This mod makes the car push button start while not in the car????? I read the whole thread but maybe need to read it again.

yeah that key deal is pretty nice ryan.
i'd like to get mine to just be a push button start as long as I have the key fob in my pocket like some of the newer cars.

Thanks for posting this. :thumb2:

No push button start, just combines the key and the fob together, but unlike the '10+ keys can hide the key away. Since I wear my keys on a belt loop it's nice to not have to worry about stabbing the key through a chair.

The design is from a VW key. My sister has one for her Bug and I always loved it.

The range is not as good as OEM, but I don't particularly care about that. If it means I don't have to turn off the car to open the trunk and I can open the passenger door without having to do a lap around the car I'm happy.

Darren please don't read this post with out an AED handy!!!

I rinsed the dust off of it and then wiped it down with a micro fiber towel to dry it.

Did your rear end use to clunk over bumps and such before changing those?

Oh yeah! It's like the OE bushings shrunk and got harder. I got under the car and could move the bar ever so slightly.

My car has 30k. Hard to believe these needed replacing. The car feels much more planted and predictable on the road. Especially the front. I think the front feels so much better because the OE rubber bushing is either glued or molded to the sway bar itself. This had to have caused some binding because with the poly bushing it doesn't feel like the front rebounds as hard as before. It's a great upgrade for the money!

I've got that same key fob. Just a note, you can take the pin out that holds the key into a fob and then anywhere can cut the key. A buddy at ace hardware did it for me for free.

I need to do this, mine have 127k on them. Did you get a creaking noise up front when lightly braking too?

Creaking is probably your calipers or rotors. I just put my stock brakes back on yesterday so I could put my snow tires on and they are noisy! Very creaky. I can't wait to take them back off.

The noise on my front end is still there after the bushings. Like AnotherS197GT said, probably brakes... or something else. I know my front Koni strut is making some noise. Could be that, who knows.
