Hood Dilemma

I had this one:

Looks like they changed the vents from stainless vents to plastic/louvered which I like better.

And no hood pins. It wasn't unstable at all at high speeds. Never felt like it needed it.

But with the Duraflex and Saleen, have them needed them for sure.

The Trufiber cleared the DOB, the Saleen did not. I had to cut some off the bottom of the hood.

I haven't seen any Cervini in person, so no comment on that.

The GT500 hoods are aluminum, too, aren't they? Do they have the same corrosion problems? I like those but think they need the GT500 front end to look right.
