Being NA and with a faulty transmission (that started to pop out of 4th) they do not miss a chance to humiliate me ;-)

That's why you need to put an electronic limiter of 115 on their cars when you tune them.

Is it on purpose that your 3rd gear looks like it would be my 7th? lol

That blue car definitely looks quick! Details?

I'm using the stock shifter that came with the transmission but did not had a handle so got to borrow another from other trans and is curved. Was waiting on a new handle I bought from Steeda but now I need to see what I'm going to do with the trans first.

FR500C clone engine with ported heads, twin turbo, now running 11# on 91 making around mid 600s.

Here you can see the engine

Cool engine!! Any idea on the theory behind the different length runners between the front and rear versus the middle cylinders?

The covers are rounded on the extremes is my guess. They are removable so they could fine tune them.

thats a crazy intake

Yes, not the trumpets itself as some internals of quite common used manifolds have them, what puzzled me is the runner length, thinking that this an all out racing manifold used in the cammer FR500C engine, runners this long are so crazy for a high speed engine. The engine pulls incredibly good while not in boost even more when you think how it has to suck air thru all this piping.

It only fits Ford GT and GT500 heads on a 4.6 block I believe.
:helpme:

And they are about $2500

That what I figured. I looked them up on eBay last night and saw that as well.

I started looking around and seeing if there was a GT500 N/A setup out there. Sounds stupid but I'm always researching stuff.

It would be sweet but I think the 5.4 block will place the heads too far apart so it would have to be a whole combo set up for that intake. 4.6 block and 5.4 heads lol

There is. A member from here put a 427w stroker in a 2012 GT500. Made 419rwhp and drained his bank account $12k. I believe his shop did the work. That's a whole lot of money for less power, more weather related motor issues, having to deal with a carburetor, etc. At least imo. I'm sure that to someone else it's a work of art.

I'd think that you could do a 5.8 new GT500 motor na and do alright. Higher compression pistons and maybe custom cams should be good for 425rwhp at least and quite possibly more depending on compression and fuel. I think the only special component you would need is the block. Heads are 4v GT500, pistons won't cost much more than a shelf item, same rods and crank, etc.

You should do it.

Edit: Sorry for the derail. Nice video of fast cars.
