Plan is to get an auto and daily drive it for a bit.

Thing us I know nothing about auto coyotes.

I assume no difference between 2011 and 2014?

Any reason to stay away from the earlier ones?

Seems like all i can find are base cars. Just a preference thing? The one I'm used to driving is a 2011 loaded premium GT 6MT.

This probably wont happen for a while but at keast i have a plan;and it will be registered to me.

And why would it not be registered to you? I'm confused as to why you mentioned that particular point. Most cars are registered in their owners name, no? Maybe I'm just weird because I've registered every car I've owned in my name.

No real difference. Select shift on the 13 and 14 models. I bought a base since I'm planning on putting in different seats and what not.

Just thinking I've never had a coyote as a dd. Not sure how it may work at first with my commute (160 miles round trip). Not worried abiut fuel orices as much as the mileage on the car.

I see your plan is to upgrade the wife and then the car, makes perfect sense. If that's the case then get a Boss.

I plan on moving closer. A Boss isnt in the plan. Probably just a slightly used 2011-2014 base car auto if i can find a deal. I see lots of 2011's out there but not a ton of 2013 or 2014's for what i want to pay.

It's not going to evaporate into dust or fall apart, it's meant to be driven.
DRIVE IT.

I had a manual 12' and ended up getting an Auto 11'

Love the auto. With a mike rousch tune on it, it drives like stock but much more power. I daily drive mine, Just did an off road x w/ gt500 ab's and more tire in the rear cause it needs it.

Very happy with it for a daily driver.

Mostly financial reasons. Got a good price for the 12' premium, and picked up the 11' base cheap. I wanted an auto in the first place. So it just worked out well for me.

The auto is so smooth and i trust it much more. The mt82 i had whined an was notchy even with shifter and bracket.

Id have a hard time going back to a manual unless I started road racing again, but that isnt gonna happen anytime soon for me.

Only real difference is '13-14s have track apps and select shift on the auto. If you don't care about either of those, then the choice comes down to which one you like the looks of more.
