well I figure since I can actually start throwing some parts at my SGT I would start a build thread. Plus since this is the best forum around, any advice is encouraged. since this will be the deepest I've ever tore into any of my mustangs. It's gonna be a mild street/strip build w/ more emphasis on the strip part. I'm hoping to be a low 12 sec before the end of race season, but we will see what the budget allows. Currently it's basically a stock SGT w a bama tune and a o/r h pipe. I just ordered frpp hot rod cams, pypes long tubes and Borla stingers and matte graphite STR 607 wheels

Here she is when I bought her


took the faded stripes off and added my SN95 wheels and a cervinis 2.5" cowl hood

then some Shelby razors

well I got the lt headers and borla stingers installed this weekend, just waiting on a band clamp from jegs for the cross over pipe. next weekend im gonna tackle the cams

a little more progress today after work, im not swapping the cams till this weekend but im having the cam covers painted at work this week so I figured I would get them off tonight.

I dang near bought a white 2007 SGT back a few years ago. To this day, I still regret not getting it. These are some of my favorite S197s.

Great start so far, wckdgt. Car looks great.

cleaned up my headlights


and finally getting my front bumper redone

well if I could figure out how to upload the video of the new exhaust w the cams. it doesn't lope as hard as I thought it would. im hoping when I put some miles in it that will change.

cam install was actually pretty damn easy, just take your time be careful. have a buddy help you, my wife helped me and we did the swap on valentines day

That sounds all right to me.

its probably cause these mufflers are not as loud as my GTA's, cause they are not broke in yet

The idle sounded a little higher than most I have heard. What does it idle at now with the new cams when it is up to full temp?
