:omfg: Mine is at 28k and counting with a 3.125'' pulley....

It's not like they "explode". They just start producing less and less boost, the bearings wear so the rotors start kissing each other and sometimes oil will weep past the seals from the gear case into the rotors. Yours could be due for a rebuild and you may not even know it.

Points well taken. Ok, can a gasket be inserted between the bottom of the blower and top of manifold? Like say a 1 piece gasket, made from 1/10" to 1/16" thick Teflon sheeting.

The Teflon gasket would prevent the manifold from being a heat sink for the blower.

I had a made a deal with my friend to by his single 76mm kit BUT he talked me into a supercharger. I made the decision to pull the trigger on a GT450 kit and placed my order this week.

thanks, I didnt wind up putting alot in the install thread, but still felt like it was a requirement while installing stuff :p

the hardest thing for me was just all the little shit, that either was harder than it seemed, or suddenly needed something I forgot about. Like cutting the tab off the shock tower on my 06, I had to go buy a grinder, Ill find more uses but was like UGH...

Also doing the water systems, converting 06 to 07+ coolant and routing the IC hoses so no bubbles

yup I remembered I had to do it when fitting the intake tube, said screw it and went to buy a grinder at Lowes and a set of cut-off wheel's.

Melted through it like a hot knife through butter, but make sure theres no left over fuel in the engine bay when you do it cause them sparks are hot
