Mine is back home for real and I have driven it already 970 plus miles since getting it back.
I'm driving it as much as possible.
DR's I doubt will happen but it's possible maybe one day in the future.

This morning I finally installed a passenger-side catch can on the girlfriend's car, then flipped it around and buffed out some scratches off the rear bumper.
Apparently she told me about the scratches some time ago, but you know how us guys listen ... I saw them at a recent car show and was shocked how huge they were ... thankfully she missed the stripes and only got the white paint itself ...

And she's at a hair appointment and has no idea I did these things

Unfortunately no. The guy at the body shop spotted that the passenger quarter panel is subtly bent. A slight crease in the wheel well lip & where the flare meets the character line. The passenger tail light is visibly misaligned, and the exhaust did get pushed down a bit & scarred. I've used the shop before on other family cars & they do good work. They've also been warned I am going to be a PITA picky customer...oh and the car is entered in a show in 3 weeks. PLUS, it sees track use so has to be absolutely straight. No pressure.

HOw are you liking them? I have been thinking of exhausts since I think min is going to be very loud when it is done. I'm down to the Steeda or kooks or gt500's.

I know the 4.6 and 5.0 motors are different but if their exhaust characteristics are similar then if you do Long Tubes, X-Pipe, and Steeda Mufflers it will be Loud. You will also have some drone when you are at highway speeds. I had the Steeda's on my 06 until shortly after the LT's and X... I couldn't take how loud it was or the drone.

There are two different steedas, one like I have is basically the kooks rebtanded, the other is made by borla and and is much louder. The kooks style is very deep, not crazy loud and very little drone, but is fairly loud around 2k I'm noticing

Data logged another updated tune for correct some drivability issues. big difference.

Oil change and added some heat shielding so maybe less heat comes up around the shifter and parking brake. Boring stuff.....

Also you deleted the stock belt? Are5 points legal on the roads? I thought they were for track only.

If you get Borla Touring, it'll be quiet like the GT500's (until WOT), but better finish and not as much drone.

Borla (Touring) with Kooks Large Tube Headers ...

If you want basically No-Drone but also want to hear your's at WOT these work great.
I have tried out all different axle-backs and stayed with these.

Look at your state's regs. No where in Nevada's regs does it say anything about DOT approval or anything like that. It even mentions 5 pt harnesses in it's description of different types of belts. But nowhere does it state that they can't be used on street vehicles.

5 points are dangerous as hell on the street. If you hit something head on your body will have a tendency to shoot downward and your lap belt will crush your stomach. Google "submarining seat belt"

Plus DOT approved stuff is a federal thing
