If you were going with a 20x11 in the rear and 20x9.5 in the front, what tire would you go with and what size? I'd like a really wide one out back like a 305 or something like that, but with the FRPP springs I was wondering about height...so what would you go with? Car isn't drove in rain so a DR is an option.

With the power you're making I would think you'd want a DR for traction. Considering nitto is the only company that currently makes a 20" DR the 305/35/20 (28.6" diameter) is your only choice for DR. I've ran the 305/45/18 which is 1/4 inch taller with the frpp handling pack with no problems.

For the fronts they offer a 275/35/20 555 which is 27.6" diameter. BFG has kdw's in the same size as well.

I'm thinking about keeping the same brand atleast with these...might look funny lol. With the larger diameter and different sizes front and rear how will I caliberate my speedometer? Just get a hand held tuner?

Yea I hear ya. I'd definently go with the nitto's and the 555r DR's on the back.

How did you get your whipple tuned? If you have a handheld tuner you should be able to adjust the speedo simply by entering the "revs per mile" number of the tire and it will re-upload the tune with the fixed parameters.

I've just got the FRPP tune on there...yet to go have a "real" tune done. Thanks for the info, but which hand held tuner would you use? Looking at diablosport, but also the sct one...which one do more tuners used?

I'd highly suggest going with an sct tuner. 90% of the tuner shops out there use sct software so that will allow you to get different tunes from more shops. If you have a local dyno shop I'd suggest taking it there after you get the handheld with tune at the very least to make sure the air/fuel is good and isn't too lean.

I have 20's on my car but went with Toyo T1R's because it's mainly a street car. I would like to get a set of nitto's next time to try. Can't remember my tire size off hand, but will look in the morning for you. I'll snap pics of the tire width.
