hello guys, I have an 08 gt, and I have a few questions. first of all I need to have a front license plate. so what would you guys recommend as far as in holder. I've seen on ebay they have some various options. but I figured I'd ask the people that know.

Welcome. This forum isn't set up quite like most of the other Mustang forums. We limit our Tech forums to actual technical discussions, general car discussion topics such as 'what part should I buy' are kept to the 'Mustang chit-chat' sections. A mod will be along shortly to move this, don't be offended.

Oh my goodness, Brian. I think that's the nicest I've ever seen you be about this…

First, this isn't tech. Asking what part you should buy is considered "Chit Chat". Second, you clearly didn't take the time to read the forum rules sticky, otherwise your first post would've been an introduction not asking about front plate solutions.

Get one those "stow and show" plates.

/thread

And for what it's worth, the law requires a front plate here and I haven't had one for the last 15 years. Never been stopped for it.

Yes that has been stated. Thank you for restating the obvious. That is a genius move.

Friendly advice. Don't come in here being a smart ass. You will get roasted.
You obviously didn't read the stickies about posting in Tech.
Keep your head down and use the search function. Your life will be easier.
It's like blood in the water when a newb smarts off. Probably too late now

I'm a keeper of traditions. :happythumbs:

And OP, chill out. Search is your best friend here.

Besides if I was restating something obvious, we wouldn't be having this conversation, would we?

But back to the actual subject at hand, are they pretty serious about front plates where you are?

What about just throwing a plate up on the front dash? Suction cups to hold it at a top corner of the windshield?

And to address your original topic, I pretty much agree with Kato on simply not mounting the front plate if you can get away with it. And I miss the hell out of my Bullitt! She died almost 2 years ago and I would still prefer a Bullitt over my '14.

This is still in tech, so fair game. The members usual course of action is to flame your ass to make an example of and remind all noobs to read the were to post threads stkjock says hello with.

Why do members flame dumb shit in tech? Simple, we have the best tech section of any mustang forum. It is searchable and you do not have to filter uncountable dumb ass posts to find the good one.
