Doesn't too much wrinkle cause the tire to bottom out and start to cup?
I started running the stiff sidewall MT slicks. They seem to hook better on our track and even got me into the 1.50's at our local track in my 07 gt500.Never could cut low 1.50's on the reguler mt slicks. Then put the stiff ones on and always cut 1.50's.
Best I could do with the regular mt slicks was a 1.61. Less wrinkle will give a better 60' as long as the track hooks. But I've wrinkled that crap out of the stiffs and still cut my 1.50's....
At that time,I had about 580 to the wheels and about 600 tq
Thanks for the advice,
I just ordered two new MT 28x10.5-15s for 350 shipped.
Now I got to fine some fronts.
These are 29x11.0-15, and they do not rub anywhere. I was running 28x11.50-15 M/Ts.Hey Don, What size are those Goodyears? Do they rub at all?

I have been running the 28/10.5/15 stiff for a little while. They seem to be better then the regular ones. My car whips the sidewalls so hard the stiff ones just seem to stand up better. Been running them at 10.5psi.
Damn 10.5 psi? Do you notice any excessive wadding? Do you have rim screws on them? Perhaps the stiff can deal with it easily. The goodyears wad like mad and went to tire shake at 11 psi.
They been rim screwed for a Looooonnnnng time now! Thinking about some bead locks.
Don't get me wrong, the tires are good for maybe 8 to 10 passes. After that the side walls are DONE!
