Wish it was adjustable. Thanks for posting. I like deals

This is the brace, not the panhard bar. There is no adjustment on the chassis brace. Panhard bars move through an arc and so if the car is lowered, the axle side to side placement changes.

Why would you say this? Ford did a computer analysis of the chassis and knows it needs a brace. They integrated mounting hardware and attachment points. The stock brace is clearly a low dollar piece since every dollar counts when mass producing. I guess Whiteline, Steeda , and BMR should have consulted you before they wasted time engineering, making jigs, producing, and testing their braces. I can't imagine that anything that strengthens the chassis is useless. Must feel good knowing that absolutely every dollar you have spent on a car has been 100% worthwhile.

That escalated quickly!

I think you said it, ford did the analysis and put in an effective brace. Best possible brace? Obviously that depends on how you look at it. Is a thick walled DOM tube more effective? Likely. Is this $10 item more effective that OEM brace? Maybe. Let me know how you like it, I may pick one up too. Thanks for posting the deal.

I don't doubt that. $25 for a panhard brace just sounds too good to be true, and you know what they say...

Mine is supposed to be delivered Wednesday. I will post up about it if no one else has. If it's a total POS I guess I bought a $25 pry bar, but I really can't see how it could be worse then the stock one though.

UPS says Tuesday for me, we'll see how it turns out.

Not worried about it anyways, it's $25 and we have PP protection just in case.

Well I got my $10 brace and all I can say is WOW. Yeah, I know it's just a stupid brace, but it is very well done. It fit to perfection with no filing, sanding, or drilling (like half the aftermarket shit does). It's King Kong strong compared to the stock stamped piece. Here are the pics.

RIP - You will be missed
If you do this mod, at least do it for the right reasons. And don't repeat advertising text unless you understand how it can be used to mislead, and can explain what's really going on.

Stock piece is flimsy as hell. Replaced mine years ago.
I knew the "flimsy" argument was going to come around sooner or later . . .

Sure, in some directions it is pretty flexible. But give Ford's engineers enough credit for understanding that if this component is not loaded in its "flimsy directions" that the flimsiness simply does not matter.

One advantage that this piece apparently has is exhaust line clearance, and that's a good thing. It may even be a little stronger at the chassis end, depending on exact details. And if appearance via mirrors at a car show matters to you it's probably $10 well spent.

But the OE PHB brace is in no way inadequate for the duty it sees, at least for as long as you're running street tires. I'm still running the OE brace, and below is a snapshot of the cornering g's that it is withstanding on a fairly regular basis. That's turns in both directions, so the OE piece is good for more compression than you're ever going to intentionally put into it (I've actually been past an indicated 1.3g in both directions, just not in the session that the screenshot was snapped from).

For reference, most folks street driving stays below half of those numbers. Really enthusiastic street cornering might reach 0.9g, reached by maybe one driver out of every ten thousand once in a great while.

Now I've got something for you guys to think about. Let's say you accidentally put the right rear tire & wheel mostly sideways into a curb - there seems to be enough video evidence lately demonstrating that it's certainly possible. Would you rather have more damage passed on to the car's main structure because the brace DIDN'T buckle?

Well where do you draw the line on stiffening the chassis? In that case, we should not touch the stock components at all due to potential accidents.

I do see your side of the argument though.
