We're all nuts and poor now, smart wealthy successful people aren't driving 5-10 year old cars with flaking paint and oil leaks.

Where do S550 people hang out?
Some of us stayed here because m6g attracts stupid people.

Calm the fuck down, Junior.

Steeda doesn't have a technology transfer program anymore. The only mention you can find of it on their blog is from 2002:
http://www.steeda.com/blog/steeda-starts-a-revolution/

In fact, the bottom of their homepage states:
"Steeda Autosports has no affiliation with the Ford Motor Company."

Oh, snap. Oh, SNAP.

Wrong again there Slick !

Take a look at the following link for their underdrive harmonic balancer for 2005-2010 Mustang.. It states that it was designed and engineered with Ford in their technology transfer program for all 2005-2010 Mustangs..

Therefore if their partnership with Ford ended in 2002 ? Explain how Steeda developed the part in question for Ford while still under their technology transfer program after 2002 for 2005-2010 Mustangs..

As for Steeda Autosports not having an affiliation with the Ford motor company.. What they mean by that, is they are not a division of the Ford Motor Company :jester:

Yeah I'm pretty sure their CYA statement about having no affiliation with Ford is for trademark reasons. Steeda could get their asses lit for mentioning Mustangs and other Ford products on their page. When AM.com used to be called Mustang Tuning they had to change their name due to a lawsuit.

I'm sure Roush also has the same CYA statement for trademark reasons as well, despite the fact they're also a partner in Ford's technology transfer program along with Steeda.. Anyhow IMHO, your absolutely 100% spot on

You do realize all the TTP does is give them access to CAD drawings, right? It doesn't mean it makes their products any better. All they do is pay a subscription fee to avoid working their designs off an actual car. I'm sure more companies, than just Steeda, are also signed into the program, for the ones that need it.

What in the heck are you talking about ? No offense, but I didn't understand a single word you posted.. First off, what does CAD drawings have anything to do with companies such as Steeda and Roush being partners in Ford's technology transfer program :help:

Edit: I got it now.. It was the CAD drawings that threw me off ! Anyway I wasn't trying to come off by implying their products are any better.. However my reason for purchasing the Steeda CAI along with the Steeda UDP back in 2005 was that my car was still under factory warranty and didn't want to risk Ford voiding it by adding aftermarket parts in the event a warranty claim was required.. Being that Steeda is or was a partner in Ford's TTP in addition to designing the CAI for the 06 Shelby GTH Hertz edition and 07-08 Shelby GT that were included as factory "OEM" components by Ford was the main reason for selecting their products..

Legato had the cad drawings for Ford's mufflers. Just went in and erased all the stuff inside the casing, put it on their title block, issued for fabrication and sent out to the shop (in china.) PERFORMANCE! Legato.

I'm kind of disappointed Lito came in and asked "what is a legato," when he should have come up with some creative spanish to english translation. Legato means, "sore ears," or "permanent hearing damage," or something.
