Mine is being installed as i type this (with new FRPP 3V Tbody installed of course). I will have the results for a N/A-Heads,Cam,Long-Tube car with CMCV deletes already installed (will be taken off for the intake of course) results tonight.

I'm going to the dyno late next week. I will dyno again with the stock intake, then take it off and put the c&l on the car. Will post results as well.

I'm not disappointed that you cannot provide me with results tonight because at least you are getting them tomorrow. :)

The car did not have delete plates installed beforehand, so this means that you cannot use the results to see how much a large change in intake manifold design on a heavily modded n/a 3v will effect HP.

I am making big NA power and I still have my plates. For someone like me, the numbers are a good outcome.

The test car didn't have a set of ported heads either which could of netted better results ? The key is when the average Joe bolts this on and we get some real numbers in the way of N/A stock or with some minor bolt on's then on a F/I car then finally on a fully built N/A car with Stage two or three heads, long tubes and stage three cams we will really see what the C@l manifold is made of , but it looks promising of the early results that this is a 20-30 hp bolt on !

That would be me... :hi:

Wow I can't believe you still have plates Marc, maybe you could pick up 5-10rwhp by removing them.

in interested to see what it can do
Me as well . I would love to add this and the new FRPP Tb along with some 2 3/4 headers and 3" exhaust to my ride . I like what I have seen so far but still want some boosted numbers first.

So you are saying that you will be buying/testing a C&L Manifold?

Yes.

No ETA at this time. I am not one of the pre-order guys, so I am trying to pull some strings to get one soon. I have a custom dyno tune being done with Doug soon. I am hoping he can bring one with him.

.. and for a little over a $100 that's not a bad deal.

Or he could make his own and fill the holes in the plates with quicksteel. :beerchug2:

By holes in the plates, I mean the holes from where the metal rod attached to the butterfly flaps goes through.

Cool. My dyno got moved to Friday, so I'll have test results for the stock CMCVs, the Steeda deletes, then the manifold. If the weather holds I'll be at Mason Dixon's Friday Test n Tune to see what it does for me at the track.

in my opinion even if u dont get a lot of power n/a it would defenetly make the job easier for tuners if it could flow better then then the stock intake. as i was talking to my tuner the other day, run a big shot of wet nitrous is calling for trouble because of the simple reason that the intake doesnt seem to flow gasoline really well, and this could cause a piston to go lean while spraying.

if this intake has better flowing capabilities and it could get about the same amount of mixture to each piston it would make the car a lot better and more efficient. meaning it would be really worth it. but lets see what the different experiences would bring to the table.

Intakes don't flow gas, they flow air. Gas is sprayed directly into the cylinder from the fuel line via the injectors. If you do direct port injection with a NOS, it will work fine.
