Where did you order from? Another guy ordered from Brenspeed and they can't get the SS kit, something about a redesign coming... and saleen is having their own problems...

Interesting.

Wonder if they are addressing the rear mount for the shaker...

Interesting.

Wonder if they are addressing the rear mount for the shaker...

We did some experimenting, added a nut I think to space the ballstud up a bit further, and it looks fine, and now stays in place. If you want details PM me and I will double check with my kid (head mechanic) and let you know. I know I was not impressed with the original set up.

I wonder if they might be redoing the water guard, make it adjustable for those not needing the extra protection due to not driving in the rain.

Also, with all their troubles, I wonder if they are doing anything...

Well I'm NA and plan to stay that way for quite some time. I do think I know what my end game will consist of.

Only problem is iron/aluminum... cause I don't really want to have a dry sump.... hint hint.

Will this plan evolve in the next few months...hell NO. Next few years is correct....

I just used one of the bolts from my old shaker to mount the rear drivers side. Once it is in there is no need for anything on the pass side.

I hope they are coming out with a rainguard delete. I would definitely upgrade

N/A, CAI, LT headers, catted-X, Bama93 Torque.

Want to go SC. Want to stay conservative with it and hopefully never blow anything up or break something due to too much power.

Twin Screw - think I'd prefer the big-block feel of these vs a centri

Would like a Saleen - hate they were bought out by a company that threw their middle finger toward warranties. Conservative 435hp setup available with options for going higher if I ever want to. But I have zero trust in Saleen's new ownership.

HATE supercharger whine that's so prevalent in Whipple & KB.

Not much love out there for Roush, but the 445hp version looks promising. Big warranty would be cool - IF they will accommodate longtube headers which I doubt. The TVS2300 looks bad-ass and QUIET (good) - might actually be too much power. Way more torque than I want to put on my tranny & clutch.

Edelbrock - see TVS2300 comments. Oh and that small issue that Edelbrock hasn't make their non-tuner model work right just yet.

Centri:
Its Vortech & eveybody else. Right when I was about to convince myself that they didn't whine too bad, I discovered that pressure release thing they do when you let off the throttle during boost. Hell. I don't like whine and I really don't want my car spitting at me every time I shift under moderate or higher rpm.

FWIW, my KB is quieter than either the Saleen or the Whipple.

So I checked out some KB youtubes and....holy shit. You gotta listen real hard to hear any whine at all.

I checked out the KB website and it looks like they can be run on low boost 5-6 lbs to get the conservative gains I'm looking for. Looks like any future boost upgrades would be fairly simple too.

Installation of the SC...not so simple. Now I gotta find an installer around here (Mississippi...or LA, TN, AL....maybe TX or GA or north FL.)

Just my two cents worth..

I LIVE for that supercharger whine - The sound is music to my ears and makes the hair on the back of my neck go up when I hear a big HP KB or whippple whine at high rpm!

Just thought I would share that
