hey guys I wanted to show you one of the coolest cosmetic mods I think I’ve ever done to my car. PlastiDip.

It’s something I’ve done to my car twice already and I know I’ll probably never stop.

Really like the blue. How long does that stuff last?
It depends on how thick you spray it and how you treat it. I plasti-dipped my summer wheels and it lasted a full year till I peeled it off. I also did my rocker panels and the car wash started stripping them in a few places after about a year

Hey sorry I’ve been gone from the forum and was not getting email notification from this thread!

It takes me a solid 12 hours start to finish to prep it and dip it, then I spend about 4 more hours the next day to in mask everything and reassemble anything I took off.

I do it by myself in my driveway. It cost me about $800 the first time, but that included buying a turbine. I’m about to do it again, and all the materials cost just under $450.
