I have a 2014 mustang GT Convertible. When putting in a boost a pump, the spare tire well was full of water . Has anyone ever had this and what was the fix
Thanks
Gary

Check where the top seals to the deck when the top is up. Also check the weather stripping for damage on the trunk lid. I don't think our 06 was ever fully water tight.

I have the same issue on my 05 coupe. It fills with water sitting without any driving. I found a leak at the spoiler bolts and removed and sealed them. Still leaking. Need to hop in the trunk with a hose on top I guess to find the leak. Going to spend more time this weekend.

I had the same issue in my 2012 when I bought the car. It ended up being the weather stripping around the trunk. The dealership replaced it under warranty and I haven't had an issue since.

Had a water leak in my 06. Turns out it was the seam under the strut mount. I removed the bottom end of the strut bracket and caulked the seam. Had to do both sides. No more water in trunk in a year.

Had the same issue, it was the oem deck lid... there is some groomlets that get aged and eventually let water in.

Which ones? Can you post a picture?

Sure, ill post a picture of it later. If you open the trunk, and on the trunk lid you remove the carpeted cover you see bare metal, it was clear to me because of some light rust and water residue. I covered it with some AC duct tape and haven't had any more water enter into the trunk since.

Is that where the bolts for the spoiler comes thru the trunk lid?
