How the hell do you get the wiper arms off?

I did find out my cowl drain right below the windshield wiper motor was almost completely clogged with junk. Did you check that on yours?

Yep, there's one on each side. Easy to clean them out from the bottom or if you're adventurous take the plastic cowl off and contort your arm down in there to ensure you've gotten everything out. If you're going to go to the trouble of removing them might as well replace the cabin filter on the driver's side while you're at it.

I just did mine - Like this past week. I ordered a wiper arm puller from Amazon, and the arms pop right off after a little maneuvering of the puller. I sealed all of my grommets instead of buying new ones and I still have a leak that drips right between the clutch and brake pedals - So if you or anyone else on here has an answer to this frigging pain in the ass leak, please let me know.

I was having a similar issue on the passenger side so I took it apart this week. Definitely leaking up front. Not completely sure if this was the fix but in addition to sealing the grommets I ran a bead of silicone along the base of the windshield completely filling in the space. Put the cowl back on and she's been out in the rain all day. So far, so good.

Other area I've seen that was a problem for me is the passenger window seal. Mine started leaking, replaced it. No joy. Finally took it to the dealer two times to get it right. At least they fixed it for free the second time. Still an issue if I take to the car wash. Since I've got the interior apart going to run it thru the car wash tomorrow to see if it's still holding.

FYI: I've seen a video for the new install of the grommets with a heat gun.

I don't know if that hole was supposed to have a different sort of grommet but I cobbled together something that ought to keep the water from entering that way.

Are you talking about the one all the way over on the end closest to the fender? Yes it is supposed to have a grommet in it. The post on my cover was broken off inside the grommet.

I've got the same thing. Fits tight in there and hasn't been a problem for me yet but I'll check again to be sure.
