Just remember that Shelby wheels are heavy as hell. Just something to consider while looking at wheels.

They are heavy for a reason though, most are forged and made to perform on the track..

Here are some of my favorites, and yes, the wheels on my Marauder fit too!

Have you looked at Budniks
Nope, never heard of them. But good God they've got some nice stuff. Looks like this is all custom. How much do these typically cost per wheel? The Shotgun-G and V2 in particular...dayum...

Threw together some photochops in an hour and a half with some of the original options. Think I'm definitely leaning against the BOSS 302's now

Vossen in silver (these are actually the silver brushed which I can't get. But as quick photoshops go, this is probably pretty close to how'd they be in satin silver.)

Yes some of them are. Some of them are actually light. Those CS5 19x11 are around 24.5 lbs. My CS2's are heavy. 20x11 is 40 damn pounds.

The 18x10 Shelby wheels that came with my car are 28 lbs. each. I run a second set of tires on Team Dynamics wheels which are only 22 lbs. each.

After a lot of back and forth on all the SOLID options you guys have given me, I've decided to go with the Vossens. The Vossen rep put me in touch with an authorized dealer in LA than can do custom finishes, and they said they can either replicate the discontinued silver/brushed or they can do something custom. The price they quoted me isn't cheap, but it's reasonable for a custom finish and the wheels are going to be a great match for the car, probably hold on to these at least as long as I did the Konigs (12 yrs).

As for what finish to do them in, mulling over my options. There's 3/4 of people I talk to tell me to go silver, the rest say graphite, which IMHO is still too dark. My brother was saying silver would look like a stock Taurus :asshat:

Instead of silver or graphite, maybe I'll do both. The shop in LA is going to be doing a custom finish anyway to get the brushed face. Think I'll probably have the spoke faces /lip brushed and the rest is either going to be graphite, or a medium metallic grey like the Konigs or stock Bullitt wheels. Going to do some renders. Here's a quick stab at the graphite:
Photo I found of the silver/brushed:

Photochop of the graphite/brushed. Looks pretty sharp IMHO

I liked that wheel the first time I saw it years ago. Beautiful.

CAST wheels are heavy and weak. Forged wheels are strong and light. A forging will craft a piece that is strong with less material. Cast is exactly the opposite.

That is not true at all.. Castings are usually lighter and produced with no grain integrity etc. Forgings are made under a great amount of pressure, this process removes any voids that would occur in a casting forging also aligns the grains of metal creating a very strong part..

Nice Photoshop.
Work related skill or hobby?

Oh yeah, congrats on the wheel choice.
Post'em up when you get them installed.

Just a hobby, I know some basics with layers and blending options, but it if I had to do anything with masks, forget it.

Once I pick the particular grey, it'll be 6-8 weeks. It'll still be summer but the suspense will be killing me until June

If you are in LA call Need 4 Speed Motorsports, https://n4sm.com/

They have helped me out a lot on lots of different wheels.
Im actually in the DC region, but Vossen referred me to Motorsports LA because they could do the discontinued brushed finish. NFSM looks like they have a pretty good website though

I am not sure. I wish Joe was still active here. He could answer any question.
