Im looking to buy a manual 2013 -2014 GT what should I expect in this market? buy now or wait?

Depends. Got mine late, right as S550's started coming out. Got over 6 grand off from Ford and dealer just for them to dump it. that was base Gt with auto trans as only option, was $26,700 plus tax tags. That said, I only just squeaked over 10K orig miles last week, so it's probably worth what I paid IF I got rid of blower and put engine back to stock).

Yes lots of people paid about $27,000 for a $34,000 car in the 2014 time frame. If it has low miles now, they are worth what you paid. Mine has NEVER been in rain or snow and has about 18000 miles at 2500 a year driven all year round. I got it down to 3400 lbs at the CAT scales and with the big brake kit, feels great.

My thoughts on "buy now or wait" is that the average price of the 11-14 cars may drop over the next few years but only because more of them will become ratty, high mileage cars since many are still in service as daily drivers. If you want a project, you may be better off waiting until the market is flooded with rough but driveable 200k mile cars. An excellent to mint example however will likely be worth as much or more than it is today at that point. Keep in mind, these were the last and best decendants of the original muscle cars that will ever be built. There is nothing else for current owners to "upgrade" to if that's the driving experience they want.

Whatever you do, DON'T settle for a 3v.

Quick side note: I hope this attitude continues. It's what allowed me to put together a very nice 3v that will take a stock Coyote's lunch money for about 3/4 the cost of buying a similar condition / mileage '11/'12 GT.

I could be wrong but it seems like last year a clean 13/14 went for 15-20k now they are going for 20-25k I was hoping it was due to tax season/stimmy checks and maybe the new car shortage and possibly values will drop a by a few thousand by the end of the year but that will depend on factors such as inflation and if the stimmy monies run out and new car production recovers but idk. looking for other perspectives

It was 35K starting for the premium, 40K for a fully loaded one, the base model msrp was 30K, I bought mine for 29K new in 2013, base model GT. I don't know the prices but I wouldn't pay 20K for a 10 year old car when I can buy a new one for 36K, yes the new base models are 36K, the dealers typically stock more premium models than base models due to the higher profit margins.
