I guess I'm behind with times badly I didn't know that muscle mustangs and fast fords magazine was no more until this morning. Guess I should've known since no new videos in years on youtube anyway how long have they been shutdown and what happened? Sorry I'm sure this is very old new but was just wondering.

I thought they shut down years ago, pre-covid at least. They got shut down by the internet.

I don't know didn't realize anything until earlier I still like having a magazine in my hand to look at and read instead of looking on a screen all the time, the joys of a supposed digital age.

MM & FF, Hot Rod, and Popular Hotrodding were taken over by Motor Trend. I also miss the days when I could buy a magazine and read it but now the only way to pull up old articles is to search in https://www.motortrend.com/
Yeah they shutdown a lot of stuff and sad thing is to me motor trend is crap anyway get rid of good content for the their crap but to each is own I guess!

Basic economics.
Reduce costs, increase profit. And going electronic gives them another avenue for targeted advertising.

The trees will also be happier since fewer will need to be felled to make paper. ;)

Too bad we are now cutting down forests to make room for people. Reducing the planet's ability to recycle the greenhouse gas CO2.

Shit, I still read an actual newspaper. How many people you see doing that nowadays?

Evan Smith, a former MM&FF editor, has a fairly good YouTube channel called "Revan Evan". A few other MM&FF alums have channels as well.

I get the Sunday paper delivered, but the rest of the week I read it online. Easier to do while drinking my coffee before heading to the office but Sunday I prefer to have the paper in my hand while drinking my morning coffee.

Hay OP. Have you heard of Mustang Hub? It's the last one standing. It's expensive, but the worth it. The stories are longer and it's on quality paper.

And I'll add that I had the privilege of having my stroked windsor fox in MM&FF, 5.0 Mustang, Ford Builder and Race Pages. My current car got into MM&FF shortly before it got the axe
