Well, had a big oof moment when I was busy logging and my laptop fell of the car and gouged the paint.
After a few seething hours, decided to say F it and give it a shot at touch up and here are the steps and results:
1. Cleaned the gouge with rubbing alcohol
2. Applied touch up base, let cure for 24 hrs
3. Applied clear, let cure for 24 hrs
4. Applied second coat of clear, let cure for 24 hrs.
5. Wet sanded with 1,500 grit until leveled with existing paint
6. Wet sanded with 2,000 grit until desired level
7. Compounded and polished
Gouge

After initial touch up

After first round of sanding, polishing

End result

Not perfect, but good enough to where I don’t stair at it and get pissed every time I drive the car.
