So true but even the 4.6 leaves room.for improvement:The 4.6 is one of the great bottom ends for longevity. 6 bolt mains + square bore is solid. A few annoyances along the way (the 2v spitting plugs out, the 3v holding on to plugs too tight), but if you maintain it, it will take its abuse.

Fun fact, the 4.6 modular was also the foundation for Koneigseggs CC8S engine was derived from the 4.6.
