So what... still isn't anything impressive. Especially considering it is a 3.0L blower. There are 2.6s and even 2.3s making that power with the same psi and good tuning. Hell, I made over 500 to the wheels with a 9.5psi pulley on my 2.3l. I do like how they can't get a consistant psi out of the damn thing so now they rate the pulley for a range...i.e 7-9.5psi.

Bottom line.. a 3L blower at 9.5psi should make a hell of a lot more power than that. Think i'm wrong? Just ask any of the 2.8L KB people how much they are making with 9-10psi. I promise ya it's more than 450. Shit, for that matter, pretty much any blower out there is making at least 450 with 10psi.

As for your post.. at least put a LITTLE bit of effort in to it other than just a link to Brads site...geesh.

Ah.. you're right, it is a 2300 blower. Hell, in that case it is WAY down on power.

How do you come up with the fact that it is way down on power?

An automatic making 475 rwhp SAE (486 rwhp STD) is equivalent to a 5 speed making 505 rwhp SAE (515 rwhp STD) at 11.5 psi.

The whipple Gen 2 HO kits are 11-12 psi and put down on 5 speeds anywhere from 480 to 490 rwhp SAE. So are you saying that Whipple Gen 2's are way down on power also?

But if you want to get real picky about it.. I put down 509 SAE through an automatic with 9.5psi on pump gas and 17* of timing through a 2.3L blower

5R55S is also a 5 speed. Being as they (both) usually pull on the dyno in 4th, that really shouldn't matter. There is some loss through the converter and diff but you'll never get an accurate comparison because of all the variables. Comparing RWHP for stick vs auto is nothing more than bench racing. IE, my 2.3L Gen II Whipple makes 10.5+ PSI @ 3k and all the way through the shifts. On a 3.625" pulley.
