I have had Doug`s tune for awhile, and no issues, except it seems to be rich. I have to clean my GTA tail pipes constanly. I installed a A/F wide band, and now I know it is rich ,when not at WOT. Is this normal with his tune? I have talked with others on another forum, and it seems to be common. When I am just driving around normal I am getting 14.5 to 15.7 , does it only matter what the AF is at wot?

no matter what tune you run, the AFR gauge will always jump around when your not at WOT.

Also I'm assuming that was a typo (14.5-15.7) maybe 14.5-14.7

No it goes up to the 15.7 only for a brief milisecond. :mad2:

14.5 is normal cruising. I like to run around 10.8-11.0 WOT. I get black pipes but at least my motor is safe.

x2 its just your short term fuel trims adjusting and the computer making slight adjustments to make sure everything is still working. Every car or truck I've ever had a wideband on has done this.

I have black exhaust tips, and when I go WOT I'll even get a puff of soot. Kinda goes with the territory having 11.6 A/F and high flow cats.

I'm running the race tune and my GTA's stay so clean that it's scary.
Wonder what is up with that?

I agree the safe thing is what is going on here.
Listen to this ... It's fine.

Plus, the tips aren't going to stay nearly as clean without cats.
Bingo that is exactly what is going on here.
those tunes are great for being mail in !
Yes Doug is the best at sending email tunes for these cars. I would love to have a custom tune on the dyno from Him.

Yea I used the torque tune once when I let my wife drive the car. I usually run the 91 RACE tune on the street. Lately I have just been running the nitrous tune (100 shot).
Doug and Caleb are cool. Doug told me not to talk to anyone but him awhile back. I called awhile back. and asked to talk with Doug. This guy who Doug hired on, started telling me wrong info. Well I guess he did not want me to talk with Doug. Then He tells Doug I HUNG UP ON HIM . All I can say is BS. The customer service has a lot to be desired now. To bad I was going to buy a bunch more stuff from Doug.

Yeah, I'm really busy at work myself, But I find time to reply to all my emails, and I return all my calls on the same day. If I didn't, I would have Pissed-off customers...

I have a PM into Matt at Bama, but I understand he has been hurt in a motorcyle accident??? Maybe someone can confirm that?

And if anyone is emailing us or has ordering tunes.. No Internet here. This should be resolved when we move to our new office soon.
