I found this:

5R33-5560-BC: rear spring, standard, GT
rate: 24.9 N/mm, free ht: 361 mm, tag: blue

5R33-5560-AC: rear spring, special, Bullitt Mustang
rate: 24.9 N/mm, free ht: 355 mm, tag: light blue

same spring rate but just a tad shorter

I am not sure---I just reported about the ones I got from Sutton.

Has anyone ordered cobra jet springs from other vendors? Did you guys get the same spring part# that I did?

I just got the CJ springs from Sutton. They are the same ones you have, Paul. They came in a Ford Racing box with a Ford Racing label that says CJ Spring Kit on it with the number M-5300-Q.

I'm not even going to put them on if they are the same spring rate as stock, but just a 1/4" shorter. Hell 6 MM isn't even 1/4".

So how about going to the racetrack and running the car to see if it is any better.

Oh...and MexGT......coil overs suck. Take them off and bash yourself in the head with them.

NO. I would rather sit here for another week and bitch about it. Actually I will be going as soon as it cools down some. Right now its just way too hot.

they didnt lower the car from stock height at all. the car was stock height. i was able to get my jack under the car without ramps for the first time in years and thats even with the BMR subframes under there wit hte so called "CJ" springs installed.

Damn that sucks ... I wonder what these vendors are going to do once people start raising hell that they got GT springs ... I guess the vendors got ripped off too though. It should be interesting.

Before anyone goes and offs themselves for buying the springs and reading this conspiracy theory do any of you remember these posts from the beginning of this thread??????

I know of a friend who put them in at the track in 30 mins...and went from a 1.55 60 ft to a 1.45 60 ft on the next run.

There is a member on the board here ( who I wont mention unless he wants it out there) who put them on and, again, cut 10th off...He has 2 witnesses.

I know of another person that also picked up a tenth when switching to these springs (rear only).

Some of you would debate this shit until the end of days without TRYING THE FUCKING SPRINGS FOR YOURSELF AT THE RACE TRACK. Which, by the way, is where these damn things were designed to work.

Yeah, the person I know who dropped a tenth is on vacation right now. But when he comes back, I plan on verifying the part # that is on his car.

Exactly. What kind of springs were on the above mentioned cars? Steeda Sport Springs? Eibach Sportlines? Etc.

Tell ya' what......y'all go ahead and debate it for another year or so. I'm going to put them on the car and go win some races. Then again....y'all don't race anyway so why are you bothering with race springs.

if so can you tell if the rear "bounces" more or less w/ the CJs then the previous spring? would that not be the tell tale difference..... ??

I'm no wrench guy... but can one measure the rates in a compression machine from one to the other to see if there is a difference?

what do you recomend for the rear? im gonna save 75 bux n use a buddies v6 springs that he didnt need anymore andi just ordered qa1's... what do u think?
