Are CMPD worth it?

I am soon to make another trip to my tuner to have the hellion race pipe installed in place of my current mid pipe. I am thinking about doing delete plates also. Are they a mod that is worth the money or are they a waste of money? Thanks

Yes, esp since you are boosted. I have seen several people with bent plates and plates that fell off into the heads and did major damage. I have a big NA build and they made a 23 ft lbs improvement in my peak rwtq and as much as 32+ ft lbs of tq at some rpms.

I made my own delete plates for the price of a couple tubes of quick steal, and port-matched to the intake and heads. It was about 4 hours of labor, but well worth it. You can't even buy port-matched CMDP's, which is a big reason why I made my own.

Steeda race plates or GTFO! They are the shit and I love mine. They are some of the first mods I did to my car. They will shine in a boosted car.

yes... and with missing this... do a little research on your project.

If you maybe missed this, you may have missed something(s) else, small, yet w/ your combo... leaving ALOT of power unused!!

For Centri and Turbo guys you can really see a difference. They work well with NA but you dont see the gains like the boost applications.
