It is strengthened so you don't have to worry about flex, it holds more fluid and it has a drain plug to make the changing of the fluid a lot less messy.

Exactly why i wnated one, for the drain plug. But the truetrac is in and new gear oil as well so no point in changing it again. :/

Perfect time, and reason, to dump the fluid, clear the break in shavings and shore up the rear........150 shipped is a good deal for added insurance, gear oil is cheap........

well, mine is a 2010 gt, i wouldn't think there is any difference, it's an 8.8 rear end, i believe most companies advertise the same part # 79-10
