Get a smart car. Then use the money you save to put the lift up!!
And exactly how would spending money save money?? You sound like my wife.

Her: Look, I saved $20 on this... it was on sale for $80!

Me: Sorry, you didn't "save" anything. You spent $80.

I figure that charger is worth more then a smart car so you would sell the charger and have some money left over, and the smart car will get much better gas mileage saving you money at the pump every week that you can save to put the lift in.

That house is gorgeous! I still can't wait to see the garage when the lift is put in!

Lol, I would like to see a pic of Don driving a smart car.

oddly enough the last time my Mustang was in the shop the loaner was a new Smart, and yes they suck more then you think the would, and just for grins me and another coworker took it when we went to lunch, both of us are ~5'10 and both of us are ~280lbs(if not more) but it was worth the laugh, just wish there had been a camera around for it.

The Smart may be a bit better that the Charger on fuel but they are not brilliant. We get only around 41 miles to the gallons with ours!

Good point.

For Zman's sake, let's say I commute 8,000 miles per year. At 40mpg, that would be 200 gallons of gas. At 20 mpg, it's 400 gallons. So, I'd save about $600 per year. At that rate, I'd be able to get the lift in 4 or 5 years! hahaha

Alright, just sell the charger and walk to work! Just think of all the weight you'll loose which will also have the added benefit of faster times at the track.

That's a long walk... 30-mile RT.:thud:

And if I sold the Charger, I'd probably replace it with a new Challenger. I like them a lot more than the 2010+ Mustangs.

Since Don will be getting a Challenger, he could pull the engine and KB out of the mustang and put it in the smart car.

I want to see a build thread on this.

Nope, don't care about the lawnmower, we just want lift pictures. We should have them in what? About 9 more months maybe?
