damn...that thing is sweet...I want one, just don't want to relocate the fusebox or cut holes (I'm guessing the filter and intake tubing will run similar to the KB and be behind the bumper)

how do you fit the filter with the fuse box in place

Who cares??

We don't need no stinkin' filters..:screw:

You could probably do something like Roush and run it to the other side. You are going to need some massive tubing to keep vacuum down, and maybe a hogged out V-10 throttle body.

Can you say a picture is worth a thousand words??

Adam,
intead of making a couple of bends for better flow, whyy did you make it all sharp angles. IT would not have been any more trouble. You could have bent the sides into a arc and have the air, flow wmoothly around the arc instead of running into wall then make the right turn into the S/C. I don't know if it would have made any difference but I DO know it would not have taken any extra work.

I am a dumbass about the S/C and it may not matter. IT just seems like it would work better.

Maybe that is just the intial mock up then? I doubt the finished product would look like that, if everything I see about Adam on this site is true. (which I have no reason to doubt it) Sometimes, you just wanna see if it will work before spending a ton of time making it work better. (or look better)

Actually you cant see it inside, but its all welded up in the corners. Its not a sharp angle as it appears. There is a nice radius on the short side of the blower inlet as well. This is just a mockup mani, but should work well none the less. The reason I chose to put the tbody on the right is for clearence reasons. The mani can be built bigger and I can keep the stock hood on the car. I am relocating the computer, but the fuse box will stay where it is. I thought about a cross over inatke pipe, but I chose to go down through the right front fender area to limit the bends. I should have most of the other work done today. As for the t-body,we are using the Big Mouth one Ive been selling. I also have acces to a 105mm and 120mm mass air meter to try out. This should haul ass, well,I make sure its just a tad slower than mine:leghump:. Should have it at Irwindale this Thursday for a test run,and Famoso on Sat.All I know,is this car will need to get certed by the end of Sat.

Just curious, if you wanted to go from the 2.3 to the 2.9 or 3.4, what all is involved? Do you use the same lower intake, and just swap out the compressor or what?

No way. Manifold, meter, TB, and intake all have to be custom.

I know the intake, meter, tb will have to be custom, but as far as swapping the 3.4 or 2.9 for the 2.3? Do they still work on the same lower intake manifold or is that a custom piece too?
