looking at your signature...you're almost 2/10 quicker and 2mph faster in the 1/8 than i am....that's really weird that you only go a 12.5 after such a good 1/8

new et's, a little disappointed in the mph's
Gears killed it??

I feel the same way, my p/b is a 12.504, but my mph was 108.8.....just can't figure it out other it has no ass on the big end of the track

Damn, to think i run like 3 tenths slower and i don't have a stall, or DRs, or cams. Man if i got those three things, i think i would be almost at the 12.3 range. Hell i have trapped 108 before, i just think i need cold weather instead of this humid heat i've been dealing with =/

Maybe your tune needs to be tweaked man, who knows? Has it been checked out on the dyno?

Dude with these cars, you have no idea how hard it is and how much time and money needs to be spent to take an NA, street worthy S197 to mid-12's.

After 5+ years, NO ONE has runn 11's NA on a stock long block. I can count the members of this foum on 1 hand who have hit 11.9xx or faster with an NA s197 on stock short block. There may not be a total of 10 legit 11 sec NA s197's in the country.

Didn't Ron Leonard, Bill Tumas, and Justin Burcham pull the longblock trick off? Stock throttlebody to oil pan as I recall on Bill's car (see 'quikhuh'). Look for threads from "Qwikhuh" for Bill's mods...
