before anyone tells me to search i did, and to my surprise there arent many threads on this for a car with bolt ons.most of the people are using superchargers.so on to my question.
can i just put a bottle of purple ice or redline water wetter to my tank with 50/50 antifreeze mix from factory.
i know the way to do it is to flush the system but can i just add a bottle to the tank and call it a day.

Yes. The water wetter works better with water, than coolant.
Im running 75% water 25% coolant, now thats its warm and adding the watter wetter.

I drained about half my coolant (50/50 mix) and filled it back up with water. To get the 75/25 mix.

I run the red line water wetter with a 50/50 mix. I am not sure if it helps at but it does not hurt. I just added it to the overflow tank and my intercooler reservoir.

Its very easy to drain some coolant and add water and the water wetter(purple ice is the same thing) The stuff has been tested and works best with 100% water(which is more for aftercooler/heat exchanger systems) so whatever coolant/water mixture you want to run it with is up to you, im sure it wont hurt in 50/50.

Water has a high specific heat and is best for cooling quickly/efficiently. The coolant(antifreeze) is just there to keep it from freezing in the winter, but also raises the boiling point, so you want some coolant (i wouldnt run less than 25 coolant)

If you are really looking to increase cooling performance, get a larger capacity aluminum radiator imho.

After I installed my electric pump I noticed that the cylinder head temp guage never reaches the point where it is straight up and down. The needle used to be vertical and now it just never gets to that point, and I'm out in the desert.

With the elec wp you are moving fluid faster, the oem pulley operated water pump flow is based on rpm, and the ewp flows the same rate regardless which has its pros and cons. It will help to a certain extent but if the fluid is moving through too fast it wont have enough time to absorb heat in the engine and release it in the radiator.

With the slim fan/no shroud wired to run on high only now and the twin core radiator my factory temp gauge sits to the left of nomal now as well.(like 40%)
