Congrats it still won't be the same since it isn't fi but your heading back in the right direction

Yeah it will be lacking alot of power but it's just nice to be able to drive it. I'm gonna have BBR retune it so it will still have some power. It has mild bolt-ons still, and I plan on adding cams and my ported heads once they return. So it will still be a mid 12 sec car after I'm through with it.

I will be finishing up the rest of the install tomorrow and I will have pics of it out and cleaned up hopefully. I'm getting a check engine light so I'm guessing the oil that soaked the 02 sensors when the motor blew ruined them.

very possible, try cleaning them with brake cleaner real good. might be able to save a few benjamins.

most brake parts cleaners arent sensor safe but 02 sensors are tough mofo's given the heat and raw fuel they are exposed to. its your call

I used brake cleaner on mine when i swapped to my o/r x, mine work fine, i just hosed them down inside and out and blew them out with air compressor and put anti seize on them and right back in.

i may be lucky but i cant see it being that unsafe because it evaporates so fast.
