10 years, no parole. They were asking for probation. As if someone with 25 prior convictions/11 at felony level (all for burglary of a habitation or theft) should in any fuckin' way qualify for probation. Paraded this whole herd of people across the witness stand saying how he's changed his life in the last three years (funny....same amount of time since he hit my place) and he's had a "religious epiphany" or some "come to Jesus" awakening. Plus he's counseling gang members and getting them to turn their lives around, he's a model father to his sons these days, and even though his only job is a part-time DJ gig at a swingers club, he really wants to pay me back for everything he took from me and my kids.
Yeah, sure. I'll stand on my head in the corner holding my breath while he manages to scrape up the $92,000 worth.
Then his family was so distraught when the judge read the verdict. My initial response was......."Goody." One of the jackasses who was there on his behalf made some comment to me about keeping an eye on my house and property. I told him, "Not a problem....if you can get past the dog then you can worry about the armory, Dickhead." At that point, the bailiff who overheard the exchange arrested the guy for making a "terroristic threat." Found out that's a 30 day jail sentence around here.
I'm just pissing more people off every day.
