what is this part??

i was looking at the front of my 5.0 and i had noticed something hanging down on the drivers side, mounted on the top part of one of the openings in the front bumper.. WTF is it?? is that a map sensor or something?? it looks like a solinoid w/ either a vacume line or a pigtail harness attached to it.. i dont have a pic yet, but if need be i can post a pic tonight when i get home..
