I am sorry, but that shit is not NORMAL, IMHO!
There are thousands of different plastic/composite intakes on many vehicles these days and you will not see any of them flexing like this. If this where on my car I would most certainly remove it and get my money back and go a different route. I would not like the fact a paid all that $ for a sub par product. These intakes are just coming out. People are just getting them installed. So calims are being made that no one has had any "issues" with them so far. Lets see how they are holding up a few years down the road...? After the thing has flexes a few hundred thousand times.
With the injectors moving like that, I am sure it is (minorly) changing the degree in which the fuel sprays into the intake ports/valves. I don't like that.
Regardless, everyone has there own opinions. Everyone is entitled to them, but I sure would not be comfortable if it where my car doing that.
I am curious if Matt D's prototype does this??
