I wanted to know if anyone has the FRPP intake manifold on their N/A 05-09 Mustang GT's and if so what kind of numbers did you get on the dyno.

There is a thread in here that someone posted with an N/A setup with the FRPP and what numbers it produced. Just need to do some searching.

420rwhp with your setup is very optimistic

I refer you to Hawgman's Board Rule #4. Especially the part I bolded.

4. USE THE FUCKING SEARCH BUTTON Ok... look. We get it. You got a new (or at least new to you) Mustang and you are all excited about wanting to know what to do with it. Trust me, we know. But I can guarantee you that 99.9% of the stuff you want to ask has been covered at least once. This board was formed by a group of "seasoned" S197 owners, previous Mustang owners, track junkies, gear heads, and overall good group of people. It's been discussed... If you ask something that has been asked countless times before, you are going to get told to use the search button. Expect it. You try to help yourself, we will all be glad to help you. You expect someone to do something for you... you will be disappointed.

420rwhp with your setup

Search for a thread started by myself with a title of dont' buy the ford racing intake manifold, although mines a 2010 not a 2005-2009 like you ask.

I predict 350rwhp.

I really hope you're joking. I make 330rwhp with half of what he has in improved breathing, through 3.55's.

My guess through 3.73's would be 375-385 to the tire on pump gas. Might squeeze another 10 ponies with 100 octane.

I've been told the stock heads flow very well for N/A applications, and porting them without getting serious with supporting hardware won't yield any crazy gains. It takes FI to really push a ported head. Stroked with some custom grind cams and 420rwhp would be frosting. I just don't see the HotRod cams supporting 420rwhp without more help. Heads/Cams/Intake is easily worth about 60-70rwhp. If he had CAI, LT's, Exhaust, and Tune before that, he was likely making 300-310rwhp.

Never on a Mustang Dyno, but a Dynojet STD, definately more than 350rwhp. 420rwhp, not a snowballs chance in hell, and definately not with a NSR cam. Most N/A 4.6 Stroker motors rate in the 400's N/A. That setup would be sweet with a Centri pushing it though.

My wife managed to find one used and hers will go on next week, she only bought it b/c it looked better to her than the plenum cover over stock manifold, she is wondering and I'm wondering if she will see any gains... her mods are almost similar to what mine used to be. subscribe and i'll post some results next week.

Her modes. (stock heads)
1. Mac ceramic long tubes, off road pro-chamber, mac axle backs
2. BBK 62mm Throttle body
3. frpp cam
4. Steeda pullies
5. 3.73 gears
6. steea 1 piece drive shaft
7. Electric water pump
8. steeda delete plates
9. JLT cold air intake
10. Aluminum radiator
11. aluminum flywheel
12. upgraded clutch
13. SCT dyno tuned (results 351rwhp and 341 torque) \\

next friday she is removing the delete plates and installing the FRPP manifold.. i'm waiting to see if she gains, stays the same or lose.

I've only seen in person one other car that was able to achieve 434rwhp all N/a he raised the compression on his stroked block to 10 something i think 10.4 or 10.9 and his block was stroked to 302 and he had the all the bolt-ons i had in addition. When he hits the n2o he said he yields 574rwhp I didn't see that dyno sheet but i did see the 434rwhp one, and he achieved it by stroking the block and raising the compression and better head work.

I put down 358/334 pre FRPP intake manifold and Alum. driveshaft. Also, it did not have delete plates.

After intake and d/s, I put down 362/331 and lost power through my power curve until 4500rpm, On the same dyno. Granted my 358hp dyno was a very cool day compared to my 362hp dyno on a muggy 90+ degree day.

I thought the 281 blocks could only be stroked to 298? Either way, a stroked 4.6 is about the only way to break into 400+rwhp N/A that I've seen. I know you can get really close with a radical cam on the stock cubes with all the right supporting mods.
