Post Your Driving Style!

In light of some recent-ish threads I have read, I figured I would post a poll to see how ya'll drive typically on a normal day.

The Styles I'll focus on are:

Spirited Daily Drive: Means you don't "grandpa" around but don't drive excessively.

Hot Rod Around: Means you drive fast redlight to redlight and drive your car to it's limits on a regular basis.

Babying: Means you drive your car to look good/sound good and pick up respectable females/males lol.

I know there are some gray areas but those are the most "general" styles I came up with.

Me: I'm a spirited driver

I voted Hot Rod, but I also adjust my style with my mood, traffic, cops-lol- weather and so on. Most of the time, I'm getting on it pretty good, you know, learning the car. Mine is brand new, so I'm still figuring it out. But I'm a very spirited and aggressive driver. I regularly piss off other people. Knock on wood, I've not had an accident that was my fault since I was 16. I'm a "hyper-aware" kinda person, which served me very well in the Army, but pisses off slow assed drivers.

So really, mine would be a good mix of Spirited and Hot Rod with a tad more hot rod than Spirited.

I drive pretty subdued a lot of the time and then occasionally throw a skid or a downshift in just to liven up my day. Lol.

I'd be more spirited if there was some freaking corners around here...

Spirited, borderline hotrodder.

I agree with the hyper-awareness. Mirrors are your friend. I don't honk at snails, I just rev at them. I try not to be a tool, but the average Joe can't drive. People get so distracted while driving and I'm always trying to get in front of that guy on the cell phone. I drive with purpose. You know, like I'm going somewhere and going to get there fast. People don't get a chance to ride my a$$ if I've got a clear shot. However, traffic sucks, so these things come to mind often when I'm driving.

Slower traffic - keep right. Yeah, outta my way.
Oh, and gas is on the right, a$$hole.

Im a pretty spirited driver. I feel pretty bad if I bag on my car.

I DO get the occasion every now and then when a good song comes on and I feel like going a little faster!

When I have it back on the street I will be spirited bordering on hot rodding. I drive fairly normal most of the time but will be aggressive on some sections of road that are fun to drive. I will also run it full blast through the gears when I can get away with it.

+1. You see people doing some crazy shit while driving. Eating, drinking, doing scratch-its, putting on makeup. I saw a guy yesterday opening his mail, while driving, at 70mph. You fucking kidding me? Pay attention! That's the most frequent reason I put my foot down, to get away from all the idiots that aren't watching the road.

I didn't see the psychotic schizofrenia with a touch of get the fuck out of my way or I'm going to kill you option. That would have been my pic. But I guess I will settle for a blend of spirited/hot rodder. I mostly drive mellow but when I get on it, it's full throttle. No 1/2 throttle for me.
