Ok, I have some good news for me. I decided to take the car to a new inspection station today and try one more time before i put the match to it. IT PASSED! I am so freakin' happy. After all this hassle, maybe it was the inspection station that was jacked. So the yellow zonker is legal once again. Now to finish the N2O install and get it on the dyno. Thanks to all for the advice. And if you are having trouble passing, maybe try a new inspection station. JT
well good news i passed as well today. 1 year, 2 mail order tunes, 1 local tune, all new o2's. finally got a new tune from Tillman Speed, worked flawlessly, i passed....
so to everyone that has had emission tunes and still fail, all i can say is try a new tuner, i have used some big names and still failed.
thanks tillman speed
i too have tried 3 tuners emisions tunes asking for the o2's to be turned on, and still cant pass. all new sensors 4. been dealing with this for a over a year. dont even drive the car any more because of that.
Here is a (Suggestion) .........Well i know i am beating a dead horse here but now i can't pass. Have JBA long tubes, high flow cats and brenspeed foulers and still will not pass. My car has a KB 2.6 with 80 # inj. First time dealing with this with these new cars. O2's are turned on as well. Not sure what else to do. I don't understand how everyone else is passing especially with an o/r h-pipe. If anyone has an answer to this issue please pm me or post on here. Would like to drive my car but can't because of possibly getting a ticket. If i have to deal with this every year and as of now can't drive it, i am thinking of of getting rid of it for sure.
But you didnt say WHY you didn't pass.
Get used to it, or move to a different country. Or buy a new car every couple of years. or dont mod a car.
There's plenty of right ways to make it all work. Nothing in your setup is that outrageous that it cant pass, assuming you're having emissions-related issues that are causing you to fail. I have a similar setup (KB, lts, high-flo cats, etc.) and worked with my tuner to make sure I'll be emissions-compliant when I need to be.
Here is a (Suggestion) .........
I added the 2nd set of (Raisers) to the Rear 02's and as of yet have NOT had the CEL (Check Engine Light) come back on.
That is after many thousand miles. So call
![]()
and get him to send you a 2nd set of (Raisers).
You install them right behind the 1st set and then install the 02's.
Good-Luck,

What are your mods Tiger? What exhaust are you running?

make a resistor!!!!...shits working sick for me..ill let you know witha 93 octane race tune if i pass emissions tomorrow..
Sounds more to me like you did not do the drive cycle correctly and then did by chance.
EVAP is the toughest to get right.
