Ok, I have some good news for me. I decided to take the car to a new inspection station today and try one more time before i put the match to it. IT PASSED! I am so freakin' happy. After all this hassle, maybe it was the inspection station that was jacked. So the yellow zonker is legal once again. Now to finish the N2O install and get it on the dyno. Thanks to all for the advice. And if you are having trouble passing, maybe try a new inspection station. JT

i too have tried 3 tuners emisions tunes asking for the o2's to be turned on, and still cant pass. all new sensors 4. been dealing with this for a over a year. dont even drive the car any more because of that.

EDIT: I'm a moron and didn't read page two.... but anyway....

I know we sent tune files out to you within the last day or two. How do they run?

Well i know i am beating a dead horse here but now i can't pass. Have JBA long tubes, high flow cats and brenspeed foulers and still will not pass. My car has a KB 2.6 with 80 # inj. First time dealing with this with these new cars. O2's are turned on as well. Not sure what else to do. I don't understand how everyone else is passing especially with an o/r h-pipe. If anyone has an answer to this issue please pm me or post on here. Would like to drive my car but can't because of possibly getting a ticket. If i have to deal with this every year and as of now can't drive it, i am thinking of of getting rid of it for sure.

Here is a (Suggestion) .........
I added the 2nd set of (Raisers) to the Rear 02's and as of yet have NOT had the CEL (Check Engine Light) come back on.
That is after many thousand miles. So call

ChandlerBusCard-1-1.jpg

and get him to send you a 2nd set of (Raisers).
You install them right behind the 1st set and then install the 02's.

Good-Luck,

But you didnt say WHY you didn't pass.
Get used to it, or move to a different country. Or buy a new car every couple of years. or dont mod a car.

There's plenty of right ways to make it all work. Nothing in your setup is that outrageous that it cant pass, assuming you're having emissions-related issues that are causing you to fail. I have a similar setup (KB, lts, high-flo cats, etc.) and worked with my tuner to make sure I'll be emissions-compliant when I need to be.

If all else fails do what the other op did and try another station. Maybe the reason for this is once the scanner fails your car, it holds the info in the ram buffer just like a pc does, and if it doesn't get flushed it gives same failing readings on that same car... There's probably an operation they are supposed to use to clear the buffer if the same car reruns but they probably don't give a shit. Who Knows but this sure happens alot.

The Mil eliminators only give the computer the signal it wants to see, keeping it from adjusting the mixture.
Like when you load up your tune at the track.
For readiness issues you still need to complete the drive cycle and have all the tests complete.
Most tunes turn off the rear sensors because the light will trip under load because of the increased amount of air flow through the sensors.
Your best fix is an emissions tune for the street.
Your tuner should be able to supply that.
Then load it up and go through the drive cycle.

I have done the emissions tune and the drive cycle and it still failed. I have the 2nd foulers from brenspeed coming. Hope that works.
