I'm looking at running either 14 or 16psi whenever I build the motor. Do you think this kit will be necessary or can I run a better tensioner like the Thump RRR and/or an 8-rib setup to eliminate belt slippage?

The 10rib would definitely be the better set up for sure.

does this set up have a smaller crack pully like the steeda does, so you get more boost?

Actually Whipple designed their kits with the smallest supercharger pulley for hood clearence then they up the boost by increasing or overdriving the crank. Similar to the Shelbys Innovators or the Lightning/Cobras ..

So being i have a whipple HO and it was supplied with a 3.125" pulley, in your drop down bar on the site for this 10 rib kit, i go with the 11-13psi choice to retain same psi as how i originally got the kit?

Any pics of this installed? I have a couple customers I've sold FRPP/Whipple HO kits to who are interested in doing this.

FWIW, about 50% of my Whipple HO customers have broken 1 or more belts since install.

I noticed in the pictures you showed, there appears to be 2 tensioners? Does this kit reuse the stock tensioner or is it a new one and what is the other tensioner? I just looked at the pictures and it appears that the belt doesn't even touch the lower one?
