Did a 5 year tour on the USS Boise, nuclear fast attack submarine from 04-09. We did a few tours in places we weren't supposed to be lol. Coolest thing was circumnavigating the globe underwater. Including getting to surface through the ice in the Arctic.
On shore duty now at NSA in Norfolk, Va.

Oh and a parting shot, gota love underway no shave chits haha!

We used to drive from Hahn to Spang in the 80's just to get Burger King. Also went to K-town or Bitburg for McDonalds. Now I'd just like to get a good jager schnitzle or swankbraten. German restaurants in the US generally suck.

Hahn now a small civilian airport... Ryan Air flies really cheap flights out of there (42 Euro for 3 round trip tickets to Dublin last year)...

I miss my little local german gausthaus...

I'll throw up a few pics...

Here is a Minesweeper, we hunt for underwater mines and dispose of them using the MNV or Mine Neautralization Vehicle. I myself run the Armory and also the ships Small Arms Instuctor(SAMI). Another month and I'm off sea duty and headed to shore duty and then I retire. After 2 years 8 months and 2 weeks in the Middle East...never again.

In the Army, 31B30Z6 Military Police (Military Working Dog Handler). Been in for 8 years now. Been to OIF 1, OIF 04-06, OIF 07-09, and Currently OEF 10-11. Only been stationed at one place so far and thats Fort Hood, TX.

Yeah, I spent 8 of those years crewing. Two I spent as an instructor. It was a great time, but it did get old after awhile. One too many times of the pager going off during dinner and me disappearing for months. Not to mention various other aspects of it.

160th Soar, Night stalkers, or as the Rangers like to say "160th Soar Female Whores" and "Moral support for the Forward Edge of Battle" I'm not really sure why the Rangers had it in for them so much. All the 160th Soar guys I worked with were pretty cool. Then again so were the Rangers I worked with.
