I'm sure starting to lose faith in the MT82.. Seems EVERY who had one is swapping in autos..

An auto rules the drag strip man, a perfect shift each time when its dialed in. I like manual better for street roll racing though, and the overall driving experience.

I want my sports car to have a clutch and a shifter.

Would like to see someone put a beefy manual in a new 5.0

Why wow? I don't like waiting for an automatic kick down? I like to approach a turn in the gear I want to be in?

Mostly because Roll Racing is much like the special olympics? I'm a fan of the manual, but roll racing is gay.

lol so you never end up next to anyone on the highway that wants to run?

OK.... :roflmao:

Don't know about where you live, but here your not stopping side by side in the middle of a road to race from a dig or your getting run the fuck over. Most of the races here (mexico) occur from a low speed roll on the highway since there is too much traffic & pedestrians in towns and too many town cops...

Roll racing on a highway with open road infront of you (not flying past people) is IMO the safest way for everyone, and the easiest way to avoid/get away from the cops.

You must live in the sticks to pull a dig off any time of day my friend.

If I want to race from a stop safely I will go to the local strip and and sit in the staging lanes for two hours playing with myself.

Hi Adam. Great work, and awesome results so far.

I can't wait to see how Kenny will do on the Aussie spec 5 litre (Miami) that already has a 1.9 litre; stock, it's making about 550 at the fly. Good thing is FPV have changed the internals on the new 5 litre, 9.5 cr included.

I don't race on the streets... but screw T&T's. I get more passes in at a race when I get bumped first round than at most T&T's. Come to think of it, the last T&T I went to, there were so many cars, I spent more time grilling hotdogs than racing.

A few years ago my friends and I started renting tracks for the day. It cost a shade more, but when I want to get the car dialed in, I'll take a higher price and make 20 passes in 4 hours if I want to. It works out so much better that this year I did not go to a single T&T, but we did rent tracks collectively 7 times this year.

Tracks like that here are $100,000.00 to rent, my bloods not that rich.

Can we keep this on topic? I don't want Adam to feel like HIS thread is being hijacked for other, way less important crap.

I want to follow the progress of his builds, not watch people bicker.

Update..701 rwhp 511 tq

Doing the throttle body tests right now. Made 702 rwhp with same pulley that made 623 rwhp. Thats a ton of power to be found with a throttle body. The boost increased quite a bit showing the restriction of the t-body. We are regapping the spark plugs right now, and then will finish the testing. Will post all the graphs up later tonight. Im expecting to see 750-760 rwhp. Intresting stuff. Thanks Adam

Crazy gains from the throttle body on the Kenne Bell.
