Mustang sites

I frequent a few other sites. Since I live in western WA stangnation is one of them.

I'd get tomatoes thrown at me if I mention the other ones.

This is the site for tech info and experience with most things s197 related. Usually someone on this site has been there and done that. Having that kind of experience to draw from is one of the best things about this forum.

And still on GRRRR8.net and they now added a mustang section. A lot of mustang guys have came over there. It's G8/camaro/mustang forum. Great guys who like fast cars. It's also kept civil there.

There is great info here but a lot of threads get threw off topic cause of certain people.

I'm on this one mostly - 2 or 3 times a day. Others I'm on on a weekly basis are GrabberOrange.net and a local club's site, tnmustangclub.org. But I definitely come to s197 more than any other.

I used to hang out a little on other sites a couple of years ago when I had my new edge, but not anymore. I even tried the other sites after I bought my 08 GT but there isn't anywhere near the info or speedy reponses as there are on here.

S197 is by far my favorite.It has the best of everything,and if you ask a question you don't get a lot of crap like you do on other forums.
I use Corral.net just for the classifieds.

I'm on several other sites mainly because I'm new to owning a Mustang. This site is where I come for definitive information on certain topics and to hear from people who actually know what they are talking about. For somebody who has only owned a Mustang for 5 months, I have learned a LOT here in a short time. I like that the Tech section is ACTUALLY Tech. That's a big +.

If you have an S197 this is really the only site you need. Lately you can get all the drama you want here also but that is going to change and this place is going back to the way it was when it started.

When this site started I read just about every post that was made. Great information & not a lot of BS. In the past year or more, maybe 20% of the threads are worth a look, never mind the posts.

Correct me if I'm wrong but lately I have been noticing a lot of 2007 join dates. Have you guys been coming in but not posting for awhile and then seeing it is heading back to the way it was, you guys are posting again? I'd like to see more of the original guys/gals.

Thanks. Pretty much everything I have done to the car has been based on information gained from this site.

I'm note sure if a lot of the originals have given up or if they are just not posting. I just post when I feel I have something worth while to add. Too much crap gets posted just to post. Some threads become an instant messaging service.
