So I just placed my order with American Muscle for the SCT Tuner and the free Bama Tunes for life. Needless to say, I'm stoked, and can't wait to see the difference. I've been reading up on it for a while, and reading customer reviews, and forum member reviews, and it seems like the way to go.

I've got my myself a Roush intake, and a custom true dual exhaust with an H-Pipe, and can't wait to see how these tunes really help take advantage of them.

I'll let you guys know how it works out!

I got mine on Christmas Day, and Installed it Monday but going home I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic the entire way home. Yesterday I stayed later at work so the majority of rushhour traffic would have been gone. I have to say I'm impressed, and thats only with the 87 street tune! My car is a manual transmission and it definitely pulls a lot harder now and gets up to speed quicker than before. After this tank is empty I will load up the 89 Performance tune and then finally the 93 Race tune. This thing is awesome! You guys will love it.

@Lonestar are you by any chance in Texas if so what part? I'm in mansfield aka dfw. It's a smaller town so I just say dfw. What mods do you have?

nice, you'll definitely feel the extra power in the butt-dyno. Good choice of parts, all the CAI's make about the same power. Some companies are better than others after the sale. Good luck with your new toys, you'll love them.

Im from San Antonio, but living in Arlington Virginia. Only mod apart from the Tuner is true dual exhaust, and K&N Drop in filter.

Like Ken said, they're all in the same ballpark power-wise.

We did back-to-back-to-back-etc. testing with 6 different intakes including the Airaid (roush), JLT, C&L, Steeda and one other I forget at the moment - all of the runs were on the same day, same car, same dyno, same temperatures (both ambient as well as ECT/ACT), with the same tune other than MAF calibration (same timing, AFR and VCT) and they all made within a few RWHP. Some made more torque than each other, etc.

At the end of the day - the point was, you're not going to feel a difference between them all.

I really like the look and brand of the roush and the frpp intakes. I'm kinda OCD about visible brands. I don't want 10 or 12 different brand names under my hood...I'd put all the stickers on the car if I did.

cool, I went back to the FRPP piece after buying a POS JLT. I like how it looks and it performs extremely well, and it's not melted, so that's always a plus.

This is the first complaint about JLT I have heard, what happened?
(I love mine)

early models had melting issues right around the MAF sensor. To their credit JLT replaced some of them and updated the heat shield. I'd love mine too, if it worked. I did buy it used from a member here not knowing anything about the defective manufacturing or recall. But it was never updated, so I have a non-usable cai.
