Ok, so I know when it comes to adding mods that the first question is what are your goals. So with all of the M90 supercharger threads where people say that the mid to low 400's is plenty of horsepower, wouldn't it be a lot cheaper, with the same effect, to get the on 3 turbo? I, like most people, am trying to figure out the best bang for my buck. And I was just wondering if I am missing something. I don't need 10,000hp, I am wanting mid 400's, and I am figuring that the 3:55 gears would also be fine with the turbo (for now anyways).
So I guess my question is am I missing something?? Or are turbos just that much more of a hassle??
I know the whole on3 thing has been beaten into the ground, but with the cost of mods to these cars, there is a lot of money to be saved by going the turbo route. And just the savings over a supercharger that is by far cheaper than others, plus not needing long tubes makes me question this whole thing.....
