BBR Xtreme Tuning for BOSS 302 Manifold

Blow By Racing has had the opportunity to get our hands on one of the new BOSS 302 Intake Manifolds. We've gotten some man hours on the dyno with it as well. So our BBR Xtreme Tuning now offers tunes with the BOSS Intake Manifold. Just thought I'd let everyone know that.

We've seen some impressive horsepower and torque gains with this intake manifold. At this time we cannot release any power gain numbers. However, keep your eyes posted on Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords Magazine. They'll be writing a great tech article on the install and power numbers.


Just know that the customer that we did the testing with is MORE THAN HAPPY with the improvements....especially on the streets.

JLT has the only aftermarket cold air intake at this time, that'll work with the BOSS 302 intake manifold.

Our testing was done on a NATURALLY ASPIRATED 2011 5.0 Automatic

I am hoping for at least 10RWHP gain. Possibly at the peak, but after the peak would be nice.

Can you comment on the change of the curve? Does it hold X more power above say 6800rpm?

Is it a tunning issue, because of maf orientation or will they just not phisically fit

thats what i would think to w/ this Airaid.. but i wont know for sure until i get the manifold.

The reason the JLT fits and the others didn't is b/c of the bends in the inlet tubing. HOWEVER... We are working on a fix for that. An adapter piece that'll allow for the proper angle on the Throttle Body so that ALL CAI's will work. There won't be a need to buy a new CAI. I was just stating that the JLT fit with no other modifications needed.

No pics and No numbers can be released. Just watch for Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords to release their tech article on this. It's well worth the upgrade though. I will say that.

John - How difficult is the installation? Is this an easy "install it in your driveway" kind of thing or is a trained mechanic necessary? I'm a good parts changer, but I'm no mechanic.
